Ray provides expertise & creative leadership in photography, video, design and digital content direction.

In my time at Stonyfield Organic, I’ve cycled through three studio settings, ranging from my own home studio (during lock-down), a makeshift space in a dusty warehouse, and currently a monthly studio rental in a mill building. My team has created a first-ever content calendar & brainstorm to keep our brands ahead of the game to create topical, and seasonal content all while on budget and having fun during every shoot (and always lots of iced coffee). Currently we are planning a custom studio on-site to create an equitable, and convenient space where our creative team can be nimble by having our studio set-ups ‘always-on’. After producing and art directing a shoot, I love to participate, even if its donning a grinch hand for a Halloween-themed image!

Optimist, creative & photographer all rolled into one

Produced, Art directed & Delivered

In 2022 as Senior Creative Photo & Video Producer for the in-house creative agency, The Ferm (internal creative agency for Lactalis US Yogurt).
I have produced and art directed, 6 unique TV commercials, 6 integrated photoshoots, and instituted a new monthly photoshoot series (2-3 full day shoots) and several paid social media campaigns.

Photography

Photography was my first creative love, which ultimately led me to design and videography. Capturing moments of joy, candor and connection are my mission as a photographer. I have experience working on-location as well as in-studio, and love every minute of it!

Original & Organic.

Not afraid to get my hands dirty (yes those are my hands in those pans!), or covered in yogurt for that matter! I’ve created 100+ custom videos, animations, and photographs for the Stonyfield Organic, Siggi’s and Brown Cow yogurt brands. All with a varying level of production value, some shot in a small ‘lo-fi’ studio space, other out in the field (literally, the cow pastures!), or in a rented professional studio space. Each peice of content is crafted to best suit its intended platform, ranging from social media, broadcast TV, email, or print.

Video

Brought a story-telling lens to Harvard Kennedy School events on campus such as reunion, and new campus grand opening. Proposed the first ever recap video captured at Reunion, which is now an annual deliverable, and served as producer and art director for a high budget video celebrating the completion of the school’s largest campaign effort.

Casting

Casting is such a fun part of any production! I have experience casting and working on-set with model talent (including infants and young children), as well as real-world volunteers (program participants, employees etc). With background in event photography, I love to make any set feel fun and comfortable for any range of experience talent may have, and look forward to bringing forward their joy in the creative assets being captured.

← I’m always happy to step-in for a test shot, but let’s leave some things to the professional talent ;)

My team

Currently I manage our in-house photoshoots, which include up to five team members including external contractors for styling and prep. We do in-studio shoots as well as on-location, and work closely with Brand directors to brainstorm, plan, and execute shot lists that will return useful assets across all platforms.
